Netgear n wndav2 wireless adapter- Linux User. Hi, it's been a while since I have been on this site so hello to everyone. To the question, I am using a dual partition Ubuntu I currently purchased a Netgear n wndav2 wireless adapter which came with a driver disk for windows only. I tried to use this device on Ubuntu, but it is not recognized. Ubuntu does not acknowledge that I plugged in the wi-fi adapter. How can I get Ubuntu to see this device and use it without being connected to the internet?

Not a Real Solution. My solution to this very complicated piece of hardware was just to go out and get a different brand.
